Like any other fast food restaurant in America, Wendy’s has definite cross-contamination issues when it comes to items on their menu. Your best bet? Stick with the salads-all of them except the Caesar Salad can be eaten on a gluten-free diet. Make sure your Wendy’s salad has no croutons or pecans, as those items contain wheat. Dave's cheeseburger and the Ultimate Grilled Chicken (without buns) are other GF options. The Frosty is also gluten-free. Avoid Wendy's fries as they are typically fried in the same oil as other things that contain gluten...there are reports that some Wendy's have a dedicated gluten-free fryer so that is worth asking about.
