Are Cadbury’s Cream/Creme Eggs Gluten-Free?

GLUTEN FREE CONFIDENCE SCORE: 5/10

Note: There is a chance for cross-contamination with this product

We are afraid the answer is not very clear-cut when it comes to Cadbury’s Creme Eggs. For folks who live in the US, Cadbury eggs are made by Hershey. The Hershey Company maintains an updated list of gluten-free candies on its website, and the Cadbury Creme Egg is not listed on this list. This would lead us to believe that while there are no gluten ingredients in Cadbury Creme Eggs themselves, there’s a good chance that there’s cross-contamination present in the processing and packaging of these eggs. Please read the ingredient and nutrition label carefully. Need help in understanding what to look for on those labels? We have a guide - check it out!
