As part of The GFB Family, we want you to know what we're doing in response to COVID-19.
We run our own production facility in Grand Rapids, MI, so we are in full control of what happens here. We are continuing to operate at full scale to meet demand, and while things are changing hour by hour, team member safety and producing safe, quality food are our absolute top concerns.
Here are some updates:

We're doing what we've always done: We already take food safety extremely seriously and that will never change. You might like to know that we maintain the highest possible score in terms of food safety audits (if you're a food safety nerd, we're BRC certified with an AA rating).

We're also taking some additional precautions: For example: increased sanitation of high touch surfaces, even closer monitoring of our team members health, and an extremely limited visitor policy.

We're taking care of our people: For our production and operations team members, working from home is simply not an option. So we're helping out in any way we can...like time off if they need to stay home to watch their children because the schools are closed. We are also making it clear to our team members that they are not going to lose their jobs if they are sick or have to take care of someone who is sick.

We're working with the government: We're regularly monitoring local, state and federal health authorities to be informed and take appropriate actions. We were actually on a call with the FDA yesterday and the latest update from them is "Currently there is no evidence of food or food packaging being associated with transmission of COVID-19".
